About this product
- Clean the substrate of oil stains and bond inhibiting compounds. Also remove dirt, dust and laitance, if any, using a high-pressure water jet or any other suitable method.

Weberfloor cementonic is a gel based high performance additive, for traditional tile laying method, using a cement slurry over freshly laid screed. It is to be mixed in water which is to be used for making the cement slurry. In addition, weberfloor cementonic can also be used to enhance the strength of the screed as well. Use of weberfloor cementonic greatly reduces the total cost of application, by vastly increasing the coverage of cement slurry, and decreasing the curing time.

Area of Application

Limitations
- Not to be used on pre-set screed.
- Not to be used on wooden, metal or glass substrates.
- Only to be used for floor application.
- Additives for cement slurry are not a substitute for tile adhesives and is to be used only as a strength enhancer where traditional method is being used.
- If waterproofing required to be done, should be done using weber waterseal 321 prior to applying the screed. Use twice the quantity of weberfloor cementonic for best results.
- For best results and long lasting tiling, always use weber tile adhesives, over fully cured cement bed, screed or other substrates.
Method of Application
- For Cement bedding (screed)
- Surface Preparation
- Clean the substrate of oil stains and bond inhibiting compounds, dirt, dust and laitance, if any, using high pressure water jet or any other suitable method.
- Make sure the slab is sufficiently cured, so as to prevent any shrinkage cracks.
- Saturate the surface well and remove excess water before starting the screeding activity.
Mixing
- Add 300 g of weberfloor cementonic in 50 liters of water.
- Mix thoroughly, till there are no paste lumps left.
- Allow the mix to stand for two minutes before using.
- Mix cement and sand in the ratio 1:6, or any other ratio as per industry best practices and create a loose mortar with the weberfloor cementonic fortified water, prepared earlier.
Applying
- Apply a cost of fortified cement slurry either made using weberfloor slurrybond, or using weberfloor cementonic, over the base slab.
- While the coat is still wet, evenly spread the mortar over the area to be covered by cement bedding (screed).
- Compact the mortar well, while levelling the bed.
- Proceed with tile laying if using the wet-on-wet method or allow curing for atleast 7 days, before fixing tiles, using thinset tile adhesives.
